What is the best time to post on Twitter / X?

There is no single answer, and any chart that gives you one is an average of everybody. The best time to post on X is the day and hour when your own posts reach the most people, and that depends on where your audience lives, what you post and how often. A developer audience in Europe and a fitness audience in the United States do not wake up at the same time.

This tool finds that window from the account itself. It reads the last 60 original posts, groups them by weekday and two-hour slot, and ranks the slots by median views. Median, not average: one viral post cannot pull a whole slot to the top.

How the best time is calculated

Each post is placed in a weekday and two-hour slot, in your own timezone. A slot needs at least two posts with views before it can rank, so a single lucky post never decides the answer. The slots are then ranked by the median views of their posts, and each is compared with the account's overall median, which gives the "times your median" figure.

If most posts show no view count, the tool does not pretend. It shows the time the account posts at most and labels it as the usual time, not the best one.

Best days to post on X

The weekday chart shows median views per day. It answers a different question from the hour: a Tuesday can be strong overall while its evening slot is weak. Read the two together. When one day clearly leads, schedule your most important posts there. When the days are close, the hour matters more than the day.
